That makes it so that if the count wants to cause trouble, the Duke is the one who has to deal with it and - hopefully - the count is powerful enough so that the Duke just can't take his land either.ДЄnother thing you can do to help solve your problem is if you want to strip your current vassals of their titles to give out to friendlier candidates - get some external allies first. So if I'm a Kingdom, and I have a Duchy with 3 counties in it, what I might do is give the Duke a single county, but give his vassal the remaining two counties.
